Heaton House Farm in Cheshire really ticks a lot of boxes for You & Me. Like Fetcham Park and Belmond Le Manoir, Heaton House Farm really have thought about catering to weddings of all sizes, but most importantly for me, small weddings. So much so that Sarah Heath, the Marketing and Business Development Coordinator, said “It’s very hard to explain as we are literally a bespoke venue so don’t have a set pattern or way to dictate to our couples…! “ Sounds pretty good doesn’t it? Another bonus, and something you know I love, it’s family owned and run.
Winner of Best Wedding Venue in the North West 2014 and Best Wedding Events Team in the North West 2015 Heaton House Farm is a 165 acre working farm and has been owned by the Heath family since the 1800’s. The family have been running community events for 24 years and branched out into weddings 14 years ago. You know you’ll be in safe hands when a family has that much experience but is also passionate about their home.

Heaton House Farm have four areas licenced for ceremonies as follows, with receptions in Steele’s Barn and dancing in The Wedding Barn:
Entrance Barn – Is a really lovely intimate area, perfect for weddings of up to 100. The oak beams and neutral decor give it a traditional barn feel and the entrance way is just gorgeous.
Steele’s Barn – Gives you the comfort of a marquee style interior with amazing fairy light lit drapes and colour adjustable lighting to fit with your theme. The adjustable interior walls mean you won’t feel exposed for an intimate wedding, but if you had additional guests for the wedding breakfast there is more than enough space to accommodate them.
The Wedding Barn – Also known as the night sky this is a pretty incredible space to get married or celebrate. The ceiling is bathed in twinkling lights and the area again can be colour adjusted using lighting to suit your theme. The Wedding Barn is particularly good for Asian and Jewish weddings as the space can be adjusted to suit your religious ceremony requirements. This is of course the perfect space for the party!
Outdoor Space – If all those options weren’t enough you can also get married under The Pagoda with a backdrop of the Cheshire plains. This area is also great for drinks and canapes while the bride and groom sneak off to the Water Garden for photos or if you fancy a BBQ or Hog Roast then the space works really well.
Heaton House Farm is a bespoke wedding venue set on the borders of Cheshire and Staffordshire and is the perfect place to host your big day, whether it involves a civil ceremony, a traditional reception following a church wedding, Asian wedding, Jewish wedding or another type of celebration.
It will pleasantly surprise with its stunning beauty whilst blending rustic charm with a contemporary, modern finish.
