I’m regularly inspired by the weddings that appear on my favourite wedding blogs, especially when the venue looks pretty cool. Today on Love My Dress the wedding of a bride in a polka dot dress, note to you all I love a polka dot on a wedding dress, caught my eye and so did the venue. With a quick click of the mouse I was transported to the very quirky and very You & Me East Bridgfordt Hill Country House in Nottingham. Of course once on the home page I was very pleased to see this as their opening line. I don’t really need to say much more. They had me at “where small is beautiful”.
East Bridgford Hill offer a bespoke service on an exclusive use basis with only a select number of weddings a year. This ensures that all your hopes and dreams for your day can be realised. There are four rooms available to choose from, all of which are licensed for a civil ceremony or you can marry at the local St Peters Church and celebrate back at the house. You can also stay at the house which can accommodate 12-14 guests making it a one stop shop for your wedding.
East Bridgford Hill is a family business and an exclusive country home, where small is beautiful and discretion is everything. Located in a serene setting with panoramic views across the Trent Valley, it is a home full of character, where bespoke style and friendship are the values of the day, where weddings have soul, wine has history and food is deliciously rustic. Whether you are enjoying the baby grand piano, indulging in a house martini from the Hat Bar or watching a ballet on ‘The Lawns’… the whole experience is, quite frankly, exquisite and unforgettable.
