Wasing Park, Berkshire on the Wasing Estate, is pretty special. This is based on first hand experience as I looked at it twice last year as a potential venue for my own wedding. On my first visit snow was just turning to sludge and there was a real nip in the air. It still looked stunning. On my second visit Spring was just starting to make an appearance, and now with the Fiance in tow, we had a really good feeling about the place.
The 18th century grounds are sprawling and well maintained. In fact it’s quite hard to put in to words just how pretty the buildings and the grounds are. Long sweeping drive? Check. A sense of being cut off from it all but just an hour from London on the train? Check. A beautiful bridal room? Check. Rooms for the wedding party to stay? Check. Picturesque Chapel on site? Check. An efficient wedding coordination team? Check.
Wasing Park offers both indoor venue space with minimum guest numbers of 50 and outdoor wedding space; the Woods and the Secret Walled Garden. Both have no minimum number requirements.
The Secret Walled Garden is enclosed by York Stone walls and iron gates. A totally private space for an intimate wedding but also with the ability to accommodate upto 400 guests. The beautiful, well maintained gardens make a stunning backdrop for your wedding photos. Have a look at the real weddings below.
Enter the gate and let your imagination run wild. Make dreams a reality in this wonderfully nostalgic venue. Take control and choose all your contractors; and, with no corkage charged at this unique venue, you can even provide your own bar! Create a memory that you and your guests will never forget.
