Holdsworth House, Yorkshire

A lot of good things seem to come out of Yorkshire.  If you look up #weddings on Twitter you’ll find a plethora of creative talent resides there. There’s also some great, great wedding venues.  One of those is Holdsworth House.

Holdsworth House Hotel and Restaurant is a Jacobean Manor……with no minimum number restrictions*.  It’s been awarded four stars by the AA, 2013 Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence Winner,  two rosettes in the AA restaurant guide and AND it’s recommended in the Michelin Guide.  Two things are guaranteed; you’ll eat well and have a good nights sleep!

You can hold your ceremony indoors or outdoors and the same goes for your reception.  There are a choice of rooms for indoor ceremonies and receptions. There are plenty of photo opportunities too.  The gardens look superb.

Our motto is Something Special, Somewhere Unique because with many interesting and historic features. Holdsworth House makes the perfect backdrop for a special wedding, civil marriage ceremony or civil partnership. In spring and summer the gardens are full of flowers and birdsong. In winter the fireplaces are warming and a sprinkling of snow creates a simply stunning, fairytale setting. Put quite simply – there’s nowhere else like it.
