Rounton Village Hall, Yorkshire

A few days ago I reached out to village halls to get in touch.  Many village halls now are community funded often with little or no help from local authorities.  Though there is a growing trend for weddings at these type of venues I still think it’s an untapped venue resource!

First to answer my request was Rounton Village Hall in Yorkshire.  They’re on Facebook and Twitter so they are getting themselves out there!

Commissioned by Sir Hugh Bell the iron master in 1906 the village hall was designed by George Jack who worked with Philip Webb who was responsible for the design of Rounton Grange and the model village of East Rounton.

There are a few options available at the hall.  There are three internal rooms of varying sizes to choose from or you can have a marquee to the rear of the property.

Main Hall – Can seat 80

The Conference Room – Can hold a small dinner for 12

The Supper Room – Can seat 60

Marquee – options available

No real weddings yet, but as soon as I have some I’ll get the links posted.
