Gate Street Barn, Surrey

First up on my list of venues is Gate Street Barn, Bramley, Surrey.  It has to be, this is where I got married and the one venue who said the three magic words “no minimum number”.  It just so happened it was one of the best barns I’d seen close to home and Jane, who owns the barn, and Lisa the venue manager are wonderful people.  Biased? Yes, sorry.

The Barn is a blank canvas.  Choose to decorate or not, it will still look great. Tables and chairs are provided there’s a brides room to get ready in, NO CORKAGE charge, a list of recommended suppliers is available as well as local accommodation and taxi firms through the website.

In the secluded setting of the Surrey Hills, 5 miles south of Guildford lies Gate Street Barn, a truly magnificent place for any special occasion. Gate Street Barn is built in the traditional style using wood from oak trees lost
on the farm in the 1987 hurricane.

Gate Street Barn boasts beautiful landscaped gardens and views of the working organic farm and a hobby herd
of English Longhorn cattle. There is ample all-weather parking.
